Math
Notetaking
Notetaking is a critical part in the leaning process.  Not only do you create a visual tool but you are also involved in the process which helps to commit the information to memory.  Keeping your notes organized allows you to access information quickly and easily and reinforces the infomation each time.

Calculator Use
Even though we firmly believe that mental math is necessary, scientific calculators are often needed in class as well as on homework.  Each student should own a scientific calculor and can keep it at home.  Classroom sets of calculators are provided; however, students are welcome to use their own if they choose.  It will be their responsibility to take them home to complete homework.
